I initially contemplated the idea of creating an art book in 2020. At least, that was the earliest date I could find a receipt for. Blissfully unaware of the long journey ahead, I announced to the world 'I'll have it ready by the year's end!'. After that, somehow, 2 years passed...

I wanted to create a book out of my love for collecting them. One day, my friends introduced me to a store with an entire section dedicated to art books. Unable to take my eyes away, hours passed as I browsed through one by one. I filled my arms with as many as I could carry home. The pages were full of inspiration and flipping through brought me so much happiness. I felt just a little bit closer to the artists that created them- often whom I looked up to very much. While I sincerely hope that this book could potentially ignite such feelings within others, it was also made as a gift to my past self. As if to say, look at how far we've come!

It took a long time to reach completion with months of revisions and iterations but I am delighted to share with you all the final result. Please enjoy my first art book.

When is the release date?

The release date is March 19, 2023 NZT. The shop link will be provided at a later date, check back at this page or on my social media for updates.
Will you release a softcover version of Idyllic?

Eventually! I wanted to put my all into the first edition hardcover release and if it sells well enough I'll use those funds to produce a softcover. The is aim to have the softcovers accessible price wise and available indefinitely, while these hardcovers will be a limited special edition. Just a note in case there is any confusion, I printed a small run of 100 softcovers in 2022 for sale locally in NZ to test the waters and quality check. These were not available online and the hardcovers will be the first worldwide release for Idyllic!
What are the specs of the book?

Cover: 150gsm gloss coated art stock with scuff resistant matt lamination Inner pages: 154pp, 150gsm gloss coated art stock with matt/satin varnish This book is hardcover and section sewn- so it can open flat. It also includes a gold foil stamped dust jacket and postcard. The dust jacket is matte laminated to be scuff resistant and has been stamped with gold foil lettering along the spine and on the front. The inner pages have a matte/satin varnish making them fingerprint resistant and protects them from wear and tear.
How much will the book cost?

The hardcover copy of Idyllic is priced at $80 USD.
When will my order ship out?

Once an order is placed, your order will be shipped within 5-10 business days and a tracking number sent by email or texted to your phone. At the moment, due to some packaging delays for the US supply, the worldwide orders will be shipped out slightly later than the NZ/AUS orders. Worldwide orders will be shipped out around the end of March-early April while NZ/AUS will start shipping immediately on the release date.
Do you ship internationally?

Yes, for the release of Idyllic we have have teams located in the US and New Zealand. The US branch ships globally except for New Zealand/Australia, while the NZ branch ships only to Australia and New Zealand. Shipping options at checkout are automatically updated once your address is entered to reflect these restrictions.
Are there customs fees?

Depending on the receiving country's policies, international orders may incur customs fees. These fees, along with supplying accurate and complete contact information are the customer's responsibility. Returns/exchanges will not be granted if these requirements are unfulfilled. Please be aware that in particular EU & UK implemented new tax laws in 2021 which impact the fees the customer is responsible for to receive international packages.
I provided the wrong address, can I change it?

The address can be changed as long as the package has not been shipped yet. After it is shipped, the order must be returned to us due to an “insufficient” address before it can be reshipped. If a shipment fails due to an incorrect address, the customer will be contacted. If the customer does not respond within 14 calendar days, the order will be considered abandoned. If shipment is sent to the wrong address, the store is not responsible for reshipment costs. The store is also not responsible for lost or stolen mail. To file a claim, contact the courier directly.
My package is missing!

Once the parcel has been given to the courier, we are no longer responsible for your package. Please check with your local post office first before you believe a package is missing.
Can I return an item or cancel/refund an order?

All sales are final, returns and exchanges are not accepted at this time. However, if the order has not been shipped and you haven't received the shipping confirmation email, you can reach out to us by email to cancel it. We are not accepting change of mind returns or exchanges at the moment throughout the sale of Idyllic. However, if the product is damaged, does not match the description or is not of acceptable quality and is within 30 days of receiving your order, we will organize a replacement. Please send us details and photos to the relevant email address, see below.
